Welcome to Cable Design Tool, this tool allows you to design cable assemblies and add them to a quote request.
The capabilities of this tool allow for creating very complex cable looms down to simple connector or unterminated wires.
Everything is editable - pinouts, lengths, bundling - you can even specify connectors and wires which aren't in our database, just detail the number of pins / wires and some basic specifications.
1) Click the Add Connector button (add as many as needed for assembly)
2) Click the Add Path button a couple of times
3) Drag the connectors to the desired position
4) Drag the ends of the paths to the connectors
5) Click on a Connector to specify its type, backshell and orientation
6) Click on a path to change the wire type, pinout, length, sleeving
7) If you want to bundle multiple paths, click on the Merge Paths button, select the paths you want to bundle, then click the Merge Paths button again
